Part Time 24 Hours Evenings 3:00PM - 11:30PM plus every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 7:00AM - 3:30PM
The Intake Coordinator, under the supervision of the Chief Intake Officer and Director of Intake, is responsible for facilitating the admission process. As a member of the Intake and Admissions team the Intake Coordinator is responsible for processing admission referrals, verifying insurances, registering patients, and providing customer service to outside referral sources. This schedule includes rotating weekends 7am-3:30pm and two rotating weeknights 3pm-11:30pm.

Welcoming patient to TaraVista

Maintaining patient privacy and safety

Completing all legal documents as required

Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Intake Officer
Successful Intake Coordinator candidates will have the following:

CPR certification required.

Previous psychiatric/substance inpatient experience preferred.

Previous Intake/Admissions experience strongly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Behavior Health and Substance Abuse treatment modalities.

Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries.

Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Medical Record.

Crisis management and time management skills.

Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner.
