Per Diem Commitments: 5 shifts per month (2 of those shifts must be on the weekend), 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) and 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day) per year.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, youll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. In exchange, we will care for you, as much as you care for our patients.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

You will care for individuals in need of psychiatric, emotional, and substance use treatment.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in TaraVista's core principles.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates will have the following:

Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Massachusetts

CPR certification

Knowledge of behavior health and substance use disorders treatment modalities

Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries

Previous experience is preferred in psychiatric, or substance use disorders inpatient care, restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention.
