8 hours weekly including Sundays 9-1PM and flexible hours M-F.
As a Pharmacy Technician for TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, youll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. A Pharmacy Technician is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. In exchange, we will care for you, as much as you care for our patients.
As a Pharmacy Technician:

You will prepare, package, label, and distribute medications under the supervision of the Pharmacist

You are responsible for maintaining inventories of drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, and delivering medication to hospital units

You will assist in the maintenance of relevant patient files within the Electronic Health Record

You must comply with state and federal pharmacy regulations as well as hospital policies to ensure quality of pharmacy services
Successful Pharmacy Technician candidates will have the following:

High School diploma or equivalent

One year experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Flexibility and ability to work different schedules to meet patient and pharmacy needs

Possess detailed knowledge of prescription drugs and laws governing prescription drugs

Possess thorough knowledge of the Pharmacy Technician procedures

Able to work in fast-paced environment

Possess ability to troubleshoot and solve problems

Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills

Must be organized and be able to prioritize tasks

Possess sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Health Records

Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy; National certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) strongly preferred
