What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech position at Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation?
Tarboro Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Floor Tech to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.
The Floor Tech works alongside the Housekeeping and Laundry team to provide a clean environment for all customers residing in and visiting our facility.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Taking out the trash
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing various floor surfaces
- Stripping and waxing qualifying floor surfaces
- Cross-training in Housekeeping and Laundry should the need to float arise
- Assist with room moves of residents
- Assist with discharge cleaning of residents rooms, which would include boxing of items and moving furniture
- Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
- Minimal maintenance responsibilities in case of an emergency or need arises
