Tarboro Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Director. We are looking for someone who is dependable, driven, hardworking, and has a working knowledge of maintenance-related tasks. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to :
- daily room rounds
- daily, weekly, monthly, and annual safety checks and inspections
- plant maintenance to include painting, furniture repairs, other repairs, or installations
- coordination of contractors for outsourced work
- ability to use technology for work orders and other documentation of inspections completed
