What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wound Care/Treatment Nurse position at Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation?
Tarboro Health & Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Full-Time Wound Care / Treatment Nurse.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Current North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license
- Previous wound care experience preferred
- Previous Long Term Care experience preferred
Responsibilities Include :
The Wound / Treatment Nurse is responsible for providing routine wound care evaluation, management and treatments to the patients seen by this service in accordance with accepted protocols and clinical standards. This position requires good verbal communication and administrative skills. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining necessary documentation, as well as patient charting utilizing basic computer skills. There will be professional interaction with patients, family members, and clinical personnel. Under supervision, the Wound / Treatment Nurse should be able to exercise initiative and sound independent judgement when caring for patients within the facility.
