What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Substitute - Lower School position at Tarbut V'Torah Community Day School?
TVT is currently accepting applications for K to 5th grade substitute teachers in general education and in specialty subjects (art, music, physical education, Hebrew, Jewish Studies)
Substitutes will be called on as-needed basis, ranging from one day to long-term situations.
Skills and knowledge areas include:
- K - 5th grade Instruction
- Ability to follow lesson plans (short term assignment)
- Ability to create lesson plans (long term assignment)
- Classroom Management & Discipline
- Student Engagement
- Technology Integration
- Bachelor's degree
- Relevant teaching experience
Compensation:
$30.00 per hour - short term assignment
Long Term Assignment - Based upon several factors that include type and years of experience, education level, and expertise.
