Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for healthcare visits by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room.
- Accompany providers into patient examination rooms to transcribe history and physical exams, and document accurately the provider's encounter with the patient.
- Verify patient information by interviewing the patient, reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and confirming the purpose of visit or treatment.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
