Job Summary
The Social Media Manager will create, curate, and manage engaging content across all Tareen Dermatology social media platforms. This position requires a creative individual who can develop innovative strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will also have experience in podcast editing and production, enabling them to edit and record podcast content for The Daily Dose of Derm Podcast owned by Tareen Dermatology. This position reports to the Marketing Director.
Job Responsibilities :
- Content Creation : Develop photo and video content for various social media applications, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and goals.
- Social Media Management : Maintain and enhance all social media networks, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Visual and Written Communication : Utilize effective visual and written language to engage audiences and convey the brand’s message.
- Trend Analysis : Stay updated on the latest social media trends and innovations, and come up with new and creative ideas to engage our audience.
- Growth Strategies : Develop and implement strategies for social media growth, including influencer marketing initiatives and annual social strategy planning.
- Compliance : Ensure all social media activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Utilization of Tools : Utilize design and editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Canva, CapCut, and others to create high-quality content.
- Podcast Production : Edit both audio and visual content for the Tareen Derm podcast, ensuring professional quality and alignment with brand standards.
- Blog Content Creation : Develop engaging blog content for the Tareen Dermatology website, focusing on relevant dermatological topics and patient education.
- Engagement : Interact with followers and engage with major social networking sites to foster community and enhance brand loyalty.
- Travel : Will travel to various Tareen Dermatology clinics to gather new content bi-weekly; however, the main location will be Tareen Dermatology HQ in Roseville.
- Podcast Coordination : Develops and coordinates scripts for podcast guests and schedules recording time in conjunction with the podcast host. Responsible for sending prompt thank you gifts / notes the day after the podcast guest filming.
Requirements

Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, journalism, or related field.
5 years’ proven experience using graphic design and social media for brand-building.
Strong understanding of layout, graphic design, web design, photography, and videography.
Podcasting experience of 1 or more years or equivalent audio / visual editing.
Experience designing creative layouts for print and online outlets.
Photography / Videography experience desired.
Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a clinic setting. A hybrid, work-from-home schedule will be available as business needs allow. Travel to other clinic locations required on a regular basis.
