Targa is looking for a qualified individual who can analyze Mechanical Integrity data per Targa’s Mechanical Integrity Program requirements and API/ASME standards as required by 29 CFR 1910.119 for gas processing facilities. Candidate will review, QA/QC, analyze and update inspection and asset data covered under 29 CFR 1910.119 for gas processing facilities. Candidate will analyze and continuously monitor data/trends. Candidate will support data quality assurance of contractor-collected data and ensure proper storage of documents. Work closely with Mechanical integrity Operations, and Engineering teams to verify data is accurate across multiple digital platforms.
A keen eye for details, ability to quickly spot data discrepancies and ability to quickly learn company data specs, are key traits to success in this position.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Data Storage
- Manage records required to demonstrate the program meets regulatory requirements per 29 CFR 1910.119.
- Review, QA/QC, analyze and validate data loaded by MI contractors or colleagues within the IDMS
- Review data for gaps and work to close the gaps.
- Compare and analyze digitized data to original hard copies validating correct data.
- Validate data populated and loaded in the IDMS complies with Targa’s Mechanical Integrity Program requirements and API/ASME standards as required by 29 CFR 1910.119
- Ability to set priorities, plan and organize effectively
- Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal MI team staff and external MI contractors.
- Support MI team members with audit item management, tracking, PO issuance and cost tracking.
- Continuously expand knowledge of API-510 and 570 standards and other relevant mechanical integrity subjects.
- Improve workflow efficiency by suggesting process enhancements and
- streamlining operations.
- Log, communicate, and/or correct data discrepancies and errors to MI contractors and/or MI team members.
- Perform audits of MI IDMS data.
- Provide reports on data for management as requested.
- Provide technical support to Targa Internal Stakeholders.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- High attention to detail and with sustained quality is critical for this role
- Ability to quickly comprehend and execute based on company specification and standards.
- Experience analyzing results of inspection data
- Experience with managing and inputting asset data into, and navigating IDMSs
- Familiarity with:
- Oil and Gas industry and related facilities
- P&IDs
- Equipment/line lists
- U-1/U-1As, equipment design drawings, or other manufacturer data reports
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently without constant attention from a supervisor
- Ability to prioritize daily work schedule to meet business needs with minimal supervision
- Ability to work within a team environment, including the ability to be accountable for individual job duties
- Capable of developing documentation used to complete tasks
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Associates Degree or higher
- 1 year of experience analyzing results of inspection data
- 2 years of experience managing and inputting asset data into import templates or directly into an IDMS
- Familiarity with the concepts found in applicable codes and standards, such as:
- Remaining Life
- Corrosion Rate
- Minimum Thickness
- Condition Monitoring Locations (CMLs)
- Awareness of applicable codes and standards (i.e., ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3, API 510, API 570, etc.
- Travel up to 25%
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
