About the Role :
As a Facilities Manager at our main office, you will use your strong knowledge of building systems and equipment to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities. You will also use your excellent communication and leadership skills to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts. Additionally, you will use your ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Finally, you will use your experience and expertise to develop and implement facilities management policies and procedures that create a safe, comfortable, and productive work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement facilities management policies and procedures
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and systems
- Perform light maintenance work to resolve minor issues
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations
- Perform routine inspections and coordinate any required inspections with local officials and industry governing bodies; ensure prompt remediation when required
- Manage the budget for facilities maintenance, repairs and capital expenditures
- Partner with HR, IT and Quality departments to coordinate access management and conduct relevant personnel training
- Develop and maintain a program for seasonal readiness
- Attend and participate in company safety meetings and own corrective actions around facility safety and operations.
