Job Overview :
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate IT, and acting under the supervision of the IT Security Architect, this position will function as an IT Security Analyst. TARGAN IT Security oversees the security environment, platforms, and tools (Proxy, SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, Email-filter, VPN, etc.) and interfaces with Security vendors. This role will also extend responsibilities to Azure cloud, commercial system security and remote access solutions, networking, and security. Assisting in maintaining an efficient and highly secure environment throughout planned company growth, will be a shared responsibility of the incumbent. To be successful in this role a candidate must have a demonstrably high level of technical proficiency and initiative, be able to operate with a high level of trust and autonomy and be motivated to deliver company-critical services and solutions. In addition, the IT Security Analyst will also be responsible for :
- Work alongside the IT Security Architect; both employees will comprise the IT Security function of the larger Corporate IT Department; act as subject matter expert on onsite and cloud security infrastructure
- Assist in maintaining a robust Incident Response Plan, corporate IT Security policies, diagrams, and other documentation as required
- Enforce security governance by monitoring and administering security platforms and tools
- Provide technical and strategic support to IT projects and departmental goals, as well as IT Security Roadmap
- Develop, maintain, and improve existing / new security technologies, processes, and governance to effect proactive security monitoring / detection capabilities
- Lead problem remediation efforts, collaborating with vendors to resolve critical technical issues while demonstrating the ability to independently troubleshoot and solve problems
- Analyze ongoing IT Security requirements and manage / improve security, controls, and policies by consulting with other internal teams and 3rd party resources
- Work alongside co-managed service providers, vendors, and 3rd party security consultants; take part in security audits, pen-testing, and risk assessments

Incident response & investigation, networking (layer 3), Next Generation Firewalls, Purview, Email, SIEM, Web Proxies, MFA, VPN, MDR / EDR, security design, security policy
