Our retained client is a global multibillion $ revenue technology business. They continue to grow organically and via acquisition, performing exceptionally well across their product / service portfolio and international geo’s. With their appetite for growth and commitment in bringing category leading software products to market, they seek to enter and establish themselves as a leader in the Very Small Business (VSB) segment. VSB is defined as 1-20 employees.
As leader you'll oversee end-to-end business operations, including product strategy, sales, marketing, and customer experience for solutions tailored to small business owners. You’ll play a critical role in driving growth, establishing and achieving business goals and metrics, ensuring customer satisfaction, and aligning the product offerings with marketplace requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy, goals and key metrics to expand the adoption of solutions among very small businesses (VSBs).
- Operational Oversight : Responsible for creating and delivering financial results (and the P&L) for the business unit, establishing and managing budgets, marketing plans, forecasting, and driving profitable growth.
- Product & Customer Focus : Lead a VSB Product Management team to develop a VSB product line-up that is tailored to the unique needs of very small businesses. Champion a customer-centric approach in all initiatives.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution : Partner with sales, marketing, and channel teams to create a cohesive GTM strategy and deliver effective campaigns and programs that expands market reach.
- Strategic Partnerships : Create strong partnerships with external organizations (third parties and service providers) to deliver small business solutions to a broad audience leveraging strategic partners and their market reach.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, support, and business development teams to ensuring seamless execution of business objectives and displaying proven ability to successfully manage and lead in a matrix environment (utilizing shared resources).
- Team Development : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing direct and virtual team committed to achieving and exceeding business goals.
- Market Insights : Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to inform business decisions, go to market / channel selection, and enhance product offerings.
