Role Description
The Corporate Development Analyst / Manager is an integral member of a small, dedicated team of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) professionals at Target Hospitality, a vertically integrated specialty rental and hospitality services company. Key responsibilities include performing complex financial and strategic analysis on potential M&A transactions, preparing world-class presentations to support strategic and financial decision-making by senior management and the Board of Directors.
The Analyst / Manager will also support aspects of developing, progressing, and executing Corporate Development transactions and projects in a dedicated, diligent, and collaborative manner. This is a highly visible role within the company with broad exposure across functions at all levels of the organization. Over time, it is expected that the Analyst / Manager, depending on interest, passion, and ability, will have opportunities for career advancement in Corporate Development or other areas within Target Hospitality.

Responsibilities
- Serve as an integral member of deal teams executing a broad range of transactions for Target Hospitality across the U.S. and beyond
- Work collaboratively within the Corporate Development team to prepare high quality presentations to support strategic and financial decision-making by senior management and business leadership
- Construct detailed M&A transaction models and perform complex valuation and financial analysis
- Research, track, and analyze M&A and capital markets activity relevant to Target Hospitality
- Take ownership of corporate model outputs in addition to regular updates through budget and forecast cycles, while working alongside IT and FP&A resources to automate corporate planning processes within Oracle infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
- Business, Marketing, Finance, or Technical undergraduate degree preferred but not required
- Evidence of exceptional performance as an Undergraduate Student and / or evidence of quantitative analysis required
- Analyst: 1-2 years of investment banking experience preferred; alternatively, candidate must show strong track record of previous analytical / business roles (marketing, sales, accounting, finance)
- Manager: 4-6 years of experience in M&A execution, either in an advisory or in-house corporate role; candidate should have the ability to leverage strategic thinking to yield informed analysis and experience supporting M&A transactions from end to end
