Parking Attendant

Target Park U.S. Inc. is looking to hire Parking Attendants with excellent people and communication skills, proficiency in English, and the ability to perform physical activities such as running, lifting, and bending. Valid driver’s license required. We offer a great competitive rate per hour plus tips!

Must have Lift Experience.

As the Parking Attendant, you will establish positive guest relationships through the consistent delivery of excellent customer service. More specifically, you will be responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles with high levels of effectiveness and efficiency. Parking Attendants must possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment while observing safety precautions at all times. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and cleaning equipment and the valet area to ensure a presentable and safe work environment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. We have day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts available.

Job Duties:

• Be on time for every scheduled work day
• Maintain a neat and clean appearance and arrive and remain in complete uniform before and during scheduled shift
• Cheerfully greet customers as they enter and exit parking facilities
• Drive, park and retrieve vehicles in safe, courteous and timely fashion
• Complete a circle check for each vehicle and note any pre-existing damage(s)
• Request the matching valet ticket before retrieving the vehicles
• Work independently or within a team to ensure tasks within the garage locations gets done
• Any and all other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have been driving for at least 3 years
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, run, kneel, bend over, use hands, and lift a minimum of 50lbs

Experience:

• At least 3 year valet experience
• valid state driver’s license
• Can drive manual vehicles
• Can pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle
• Have a friendly and professional attitude
• Are responsible, dependable, and reliable
• Can multi task
• Able to walk, stand, and bend for long periods of time
• Able to work in ALL weather conditions
• Be a great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way
• 3 years Customer Service
• Working with lifts/elevators a Plus
• Willing to travel through the 5 boroughs a Plus
• Bilingual a Plus
• Maintain clean working environment
• Team Player
