What do our CDL Drivers do?
CDL Drivers transport multiple products from distribution centers to customer locations. They also perform inspections before and after a trip and unload cased products from the trailer to customer facilities. Drivers follow appropriate safety procedures to transport cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours. This role is directly involved in all phases of customer delivery, inventory management, and customer interaction.
Hourly: $17.19 - $24.07

They work closely with other colleagues, vendors and/or customers and must be able to resolve conflicts and disputes in a non-violent and non-disruptive manner. They may drive a company vehicle as a primary duty and must safely operate a vehicle on the public streets, and receive company equipment to perform work.

What do our CDL Drivers do?
CDL Drivers transport multiple products from distribution centers to customer locations. They also perform inspections before and after a trip and unload cased products from the trailer to customer facilities. Drivers follow appropriate safety procedures to transport cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours. This role is directly involved in all phases of customer delivery, inventory management, and customer interaction.
- Transport target products from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Take and comprehend orders and ensure delivery shipments within state and/or in other cities/states
- Ensure all document and billing paperwork is available with each shipment
- Reach destinations within assigned timelines and verify recipient information according to company protocols
- Submit weekly, monthly, and yearly reports, as required
- Drive long distances.
- Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows.
- Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
- Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws.
- Inspect their truck before and after the trip, and record any defects they find.
- Follow accident procedures if an accident occurs.
- Keep a log of their activities.
- Report serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep their truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.
- Plan routes using maps or satellite tracking.
- Arrive at clients' on time.
- Take rest periods during the trip.
- Transport hazardous materials.
- Take special precautions while driving.
- Find and keep clients.
- Maintain log of trips.
- High school diploma or GED
- At least three years of experience driving and maintaining delivery trucks and routes
- Ability to operate electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB)
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs loading and unloading products
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekend work when needed
- Valid Hazmat Endorsement is not required, but must have the ability to obtain one.
- Valid Class B CDL License (without any major infractions)
- Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations
- Must pass pre-employment background screen
Hourly: $17.19 - $24.07
