We are recruiting for our client, who is seeking a dynamic and talented Commercial Electrical Estimator to join their Preconstruction team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a skilled team of estimators and engineers working on impactful electrical projects in the Charlotte, NC area. As an estimator, you’ll help develop competitive proposals and accurate cost estimates, making a lasting impact on the community while bringing innovative solutions to the table.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the full cycle of estimating and analysis, with support from Senior Estimators.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure all required information is provided.
- Develop detailed cost estimates by gathering pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
- Provide quantity takeoffs and unit prices for review with Senior Estimator or VP of Preconstruction.
- Mentor Junior Estimators, offering hands-on experience and leadership to aid in their growth.
- Participate in design-assist project stages.
- Meet critical deadlines and maintain high accuracy in estimates.
- Visit jobsites periodically for coordination and assessment.
