- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data for estimates.
- Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create precise estimates and manage project costs.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor ongoing projects for cost control, ensuring that expenditures align with budgetary constraints.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication throughout the estimating process.
- Assist in contract preparation and review to ensure all terms are clearly defined.
