Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
Duties
- Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as Primavera and Prolog to ensure timely completion of all phases of construction.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to build project plans that meet client specifications.
- Manage the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Prepare and review contracts, ensuring all terms are met and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration among team members.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize resource allocation and project efficiency.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and milestones achieved.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and tools such as Primavera or Prolog.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- A solid understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements in the industry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
