Overall Focus

The Press Floor Utility is a production laborer who possess time management skills and can assist on up to four presses. This includes giving breaks, filling buckets/hoppers, grinding runners and keeping track of cycle times and established rates. Responsible for assisting the Shift Supervisor and B-Operators. Ensure that co-workers are following the proper standards and operating procedures set forth by Targeted Pet Treats while utilizing time management skills in-line with established procedures. The utility shall be capable of reading and adhering to a schedule. Ensures that all co-workers continuously reach production goals and quotas. This job description is not intended to be all inclusive of every job function. All employees shall perform as directed by their supervisor or management team.

Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions

• Accountable for safe work practices
• Must be able to repeatedly shovel and dump buckets of material up to 25 lbs of weight.
• Champion Targeted Pet Treats goals, policies, visions and values
• Ensure all employees are following GMP’s and making Quota Rates
• Effectively teach others TPT’s expectations and guidelines

Physical Requirements

• Pull/Maneuver pallet jack with up to 2,000-pound loads.
• Carry items of 50 pounds in weight from one place to another
• Stack up to 50 pounds repetitiously.
