What You’ll Do:
- Operate a motor grader with expert precision to achieve fine grading on stone and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes to execute work to exact specifications.
- Apply knowledge of different grades and elevations to ensure proper site preparation and drainage.
- Utilize laser-guided grading systems for accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it operates safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience operating a motor grader, particularly for fine grading applications.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret grading specifications.
- Experience using laser-guided grading systems.
- Knowledge of grades, slopes, drainage, and material compaction.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Valid driver’s license
