POSITION SUMMARY :As a Tarian Armed Guard, you will join an elite team of professionals providing armed security throughout Massachusetts. Assignments range from commercial establishments, private businesses, hospitals, high net worth individuals, equipment watches, event work and much more

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Completed High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
- Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)
Desired Qualification of the Security Officer:
- Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience required
- Credentialed in NH, VT, MA, and/or RI for armed services preferred
Armed (Firearm) Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a weapon
- Ability to pass the initial and semi-annual a Tarian company approved firearms training course to demonstrate proficiency in use of firearm
- Ability to participate and meet the requirements of additional firearms training at the discretion of the firearms instructor
- Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the a Tarian company Firearms policies
