Compensation: $79,000 / Depending on Experience

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Security Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the security measures across our healthcare organization. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all staff, patients, and visitors.
Responsibilities
You will conduct the following responsibilities, upholding HSS’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the security of all staff, patients, and visitors.
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
- Develop and manage the organization's incident response plan.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on security protocols and procedures.
- Manage the security budget and ensure resources are used efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in healthcare security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in security management or related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional healthcare environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
