Responsibilities

You will conduct the following responsibilities upholding Tarian’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.

• Act as a highly visible deterrent and as a deterrent to criminal activity while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
• Notify supervisors and on-site client staff of any irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards.
• Write and submit standardized reports that are prompt, professional, and accurate relative to the incident. Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
• Patrol and observe interior and exterior area of client properties in person or via surveillance systems to identify suspicious or unusual activity and to investigate as needed.
• Respond to emergency situations according to Tarian and client policies & procedures.
• Coordinate and assist first responder response to the client site and assist first responders while they are on site.
• Applies policies and procedures appropriately based on existing circumstances.
  
  

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• These positions require excellent attendance and punctuality. Candidates must commit to being on time, must be able to work in a very independent and dynamic environment, and must ensure that all directions and instructions from Tarian and client staff are followed consistently and thoroughly
• Must authorize and submit to background investigation, reference verification, and previous employer verification, and pre-employment drug screen to the extent permitted by law

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIROMENT

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 lbs.
• Long periods of walking, standing, bending, and stooping.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
