What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coater Utility position at Tarkett?
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Give breaks to Tuftco operator, Sew-on, Vinyl, Roll-up, Ticket Clerk, Trim Knife Operator, and Lift Truck Operator for the Line.
- Must be willing to perform other job assignments when asked by supervisor.
- Must be willing to learn the line operator functions and preform as the backup operator if needed.
NEEDED SKILLS
- Ability to do all positions on Tuftco line (Operator, Roll-Up, Sew-On, Vinyl Splice, Ticket Clerk, Trim Knives and be able to drive lift truck and Transporter)
- Ability to drive a 2-pole lift truck and pull rolls for Tuftco line.
- Ability to operate Vinyl splice and compound vinyl and tile mix.
- Ability to read ticket information and enter production into SAP.
- Occasional heavy lifting may be involved.
- Must be able to work overtime on short notice.
- Basic computer skills: SAP
