Tarkett has a great opportunity for an Extrusion Crew Leader (Hospitality)
Full Time Shift: 7AM- 7PM or 7PM-7AM 12 hrs swing shift
Summary: The Extrusion Crew Leader will be responsible for leading and assisting extrusion operators in performing job duties safely and correctly.
Your skills we value:
- Administer and maintain safety policies and standards.
- Ensure first quality for all processes.
- Perform and maintain required line readings to ensure machine set-up is correct.
- Fill in for extrusion operators.
- Train and coach job specifics to extrusion operators.
- Ensure all operators have necessary tools and supplies.
- Complete production reports.
- Be familiar with current schedule and prepare for/perform product changeovers.
- Communicate with oncoming/outgoing shift’s Extrusion crew leaders
- Must be able to work overtime when needed on short notice.
- Ability to keep work areas clean and safe.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Ability to read and write.
- Display and exhibit leadership abilities.
- Capable of safely lifting 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled environment.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks in accordance with schedule needs
