Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Fabrication Product Specialist (Hospitality) Summary : This position will provide internal support for Tarkett Hospitality's Rug Manufacturing, Strike Manufacturing, and Production. They will collaborate between Hospitality's Design & Product Development departments and manufacturing. This position will be based in our Tarkett Hospitality location in Dalton GA and will report to the Director, Soft Surface Fabrications.
Your skills we value :
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Tarkett's design guidelines, internal processes, and technologies for daily use.
- Use industry-standard software to verify designs are production ready for manufacturing.
- Provide feedback and training as needed.
- Utilize industry-standard software to modify designs to assure they are manufacturing ready for production.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Strike Coordinators, Designers, Tufting, Strike Lead, Rug Lead, and others to solve any pattern and / or BOM related issues.
- Work within and maintain copyright policies.
- Interact positively with internal team members, and our broad customer base as requested.
- Ability to gather essential information from multiple sources as needed to create needed specs.
- Use industry software to create internal technical specification BOMs (Building of Manufacturing) for product manufacturing.
- Create customer facing product specification documents.
- Facilitate product testing & maintain testing records.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
