We are seeking a Procurement Intern to assist in coordinating the acquisition of raw materials for manufacturing and project supplies for field construction projects. Position Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Intern to assist in coordinating the acquisition of raw materials for manufacturing and project supplies for field construction projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain analysis, providing valuable insights into the purchasing and financing functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple locations to ensure optimized stock levels.
- Generate inventory reports and conduct ad-hoc reporting using Excel for purchasing and finance departments.
- Assist in the purchasing process for raw materials and project supplies.
- Support invoicing and other procurement-related administrative tasks.
- Conduct pricing analysis on freight, sand, and other key materials.
- Update procurement and inventory documents to maintain data accuracy.
- Provide general support to the procurement team and assist in various tasks as needed.
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong note-taking and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Flexible and able to shift between tasks based on priority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
