The Production Supervisor provides hands-on support, guidance, and administrative activities to team members. Responsible for meeting production demand through ownership of work area and processes
- Engage team members by fostering a positive work atmosphere of safety, teamwork, and collaboration with the goal of retaining talented team members
- First line of responsibility for production team members; coordination of personal time and first line of contact for employee issues
- Responsible for meeting production schedule in accordance with established standards and scheduling commitments from planning meetings and directives
- Oversee work of team members and ensure work is completed according to process, safety, and quality standards and in compliance to plant rules and policies.
- Provide coaching and guidance as required, as well as executing consistent documentation within the corrective action process and performance reviews
- Perform administrative duties as required in timekeeping system (Workday/APD)
- Employee/labor relations responsibilities such as Tarkett Handbook, Code of Ethics, and/or CBA compliance
- Use of WCM Tools and promote employee participation to drive real time problem solving and process improvements. Escalating accordingly to manager and shop floor management channels (Tier II, III)
- Participation is cross-functional committees
- Ownership of Operator interviews and selection process. Participate in new-hire orientation and onboarding process
- Ability to work flexible schedule, providing coverage for others where needed
- Microsoft Office experience/proficiency
- Experience working in SAP
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills/abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent amount of education and experience
