What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Supervisor position at Tarkett?
Source One is the Turnkey Department for Tarkett, servicing end-users who wish to procure all their flooring products and installation in one package. The Team Supervisor is responsible for supporting and managing a team of Account Coordinators as they work directly with customers, installation partners, and others to process projects from inception through completion. This is a Salary Exempt position.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Team Management:
- Manage a team of 4 or more Coordinators
- Divide accounts among team members fairly
- Manage time, PTO, and scheduling
- Support team members by providing help, direction, or development as needed
- Provide an additional level of escalation
- Training:
- Provide training to new Coordinators on the team
- Assist other Supervisors with training as required
- Client Process Establishment:
- Establish processes for new clients based on their individual needs before assigning them to a Coordinator
- Contract Familiarity:
- Be familiar with all contracts utilized by the team
- Managing Performance:
- Perform PDDs and merit recommendations per company policy
- Help each team member to be successful and achieve their goals, whether in their current position, personal goals, or career-related aspirations
- Resolve employee issues and disputes within team fairly and per company policy
- Address job performance challenges as needed
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- 3 years of experience in similar project management preferred
- Construction or floorcovering contracting experience is a plus
- Broad knowledge of commercial carpet and resilient installation practices and standards is helpful
- Experience with Microsoft Suite programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, presentation, and computer skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
