We are looking to add another experienced litigation paralegal to our North San Diego team located in Carlsbad. You must have a minimum of at least two to three (2-3) years of paralegal experience working in litigation. Our work / life balance firm primarily defends large corporate companies to small family businesses in civil litigation, including premises liability, construction defect, wrongful death and property cases.
Skills and Abilities :
- A minimum of 2-3 years of paralegal experience is required.
- Must possess a paralegal certificate.
- Experience with Insurance defense and construction law is a plus.
- Trial preparation, litigation maintenance, document management, calendaring, etc.
- Exceptional organizational, computer and technical skills.
- Have a strong work ethic.
- Must possess strong grammar, spelling and editing skills.
- Experience with filing procedures.
- Must possess a positive attitude.
- Must be organized to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience conducting investigations and legal research.
- Must be proficient with drafting of discovery requests and responses, correspondence and pleadings.
- Must be knowledgeable and experienced with depositions and interrogatories.
