As the Department Chair, you will be responsible for fostering excellence in teaching, research, and service while promoting the strategic goals of the college and institution.
This role involves:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory offerings to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Maintaining an active agenda for research, scholarship, or creative activity appropriate to the applicant's academic discipline.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to faculty and staff and overseeing departmental resource allocation.
The ideal candidate will have a distinguished record in teaching and research, administrative and leadership experience, and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
