Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for your next permanent role?
We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our friendly team in Norwich, Norfolk to be an integral member of the commercial team, supporting the Managing Quantity Surveyor and building strong relationships with internal and client counterparts.
Main Responsibilities
As the successful Quantity Surveyor you will ideally have worked in a similar industry with experience of working on Highways, Infrastructure or Maintenance Projects.

Main Responsibilities
As the successful Quantity Surveyor you will ideally have worked in a similar industry with experience of working on Highways, Infrastructure or Maintenance Projects.
Other responsibilities for this role will include:
- Managing commercial projects from pre contract stage through to completion
- Engaging and managing sub-contracts including tender enquiries, award and assessment of monthly payment applications
- Supporting the production of monthly CVR's
- Producing both internal and client forecasts
- Production and substantiation through to agreement of associated Final Accounts
- Ensuring all Tarmac and client processes are followed to minimise commercial risk
- Ensuring work completed is accurately valued and followed through to cash collection
- Preparing and submitting monthly application for payments to clients
- Preparing and issuing early warning notices and compensation events
The Ideal Candidate
As our ideal Quantity Surveyor you will have:
- Drive and ambition to succeed
- NEC3/4 experience - ESSENTIAL
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and written communication; and presentation skills with strong numeracy and analytical ability
- Process driven with strong commercial awareness and good negotiation skills
