Overview
Empowering communities to alleviate hunger and improve health. That's the mission; how do you drive it? The Project Leader has responsibility for all information technology functions at the agency, including the ERP system, maintaining equipment, and ensuring staff have the appropriate technological resources. The Project Leader also has responsibility for special projects and innovation initiatives as assigned. The Project Leader will supervise the IT staff, external IT outsourced management and lead special projects and innovation initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities
- You'll Provide visionary leadership to drive technology, innovation and digital transformation initiatives and strategies.
- You'll Oversee the conversion, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- You'll Manage and Lead ERP Transition from Sage to CERES.
- You'll Lead initiatives in advanced reporting capability.
- You'll Manage and Lead Microsoft Business Central and PowerBI. Create dashboards for business analytics and drive a culture of innovation.
- You'll Lead cross-functional teams within the leadership using his/her expertise in innovation and integration; lead design, development, implementation, integration, and scaling new capabilities, programs, and services.
- You'll Establish and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to safeguard digital assets and data privacy.
- You'll Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- You'll Develop and manage assigned budgets, making strategic decisions to optimize resource allocation and investments.
- You'll Evaluate and procure technology solutions and services in line with budgetary constraints and organizational goals.
- Experience in leading projects from beginning to end and ensuring accountability in ensuring that projects are completed on time.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10-15 years of relatable leadership expereince.
- Technical Proficiencies
- Python, SQL, Coding, Power BI, Microsoft Business Central
- 10 years leading innovation and/or product or solution development for large, complex, organizations to shape expansive thinking that is also practical and executable. Ideally has experience leading innovation in a not-for-profit social services/poverty relief context.
- A record of successful design, testing and launch of products, services, or solutions.
- Experience leveraging technology to advance innovation and enable implementation of key strategies, with a working knowledge of and experience with mobile and digital platform development.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in developing robust metrics to advance organizational performance.
- Experience working in an enterprise-oriented role, leading change initiatives across an organization and/or a network.
- Communication Skills
- Demonstrated innovative leader.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
May be expected to work shifts or be on call in an office and warehouse environment.
May be necessary to work extra hours to finish a job.
Frequent walking, standing and prolonged periods of sitting.
Lifting and carrying equipment up to fifty pounds; reaching, bending and occasional stair climbing.
May encounter occasional exposure to fumes and/or airborne particles and hear moderate noise from office and warehouse equipment
Qualifications
