Overview
The Store Donation Coordinator is responsible for calling on retail grocery stores in support of the store donation program. This position will educate store personnel on their program’s donation guidelines, attend store meetings, when possible, conduct training sessions, and manage the retail and agency partnership.
Essential Responsibilities
• Travel to store within TAFB’s 13 county service area and ensure compliance with Brand guidelines and donation policies, Identify target stores by retail account.
• Create a weekly onsite visitation plan by identify target stores by retail
• Provides weekly/monthly activity report on donor visits and store-level interactions
• Create a store donation toolkit for each retail chain, to be used when visiting stores
• Manages donor accounts including completing follow up correspondence on a consistent basis.
• Keep current and provide ongoing training on food safety, best practices and retailer donation guidelines to store and agency personnel involved in the donation program
• Manage relationships at the store level and serve as their public relations contact
• Facilitate and maintain Store Donation Program with partner agencies
• Support retail campaigns for stores participating in program
• Partner with TAFB logistics team to troubleshoot issues between donation pickups and drivers
• Monitor and report donation progress to TAFB staff, Feeding America, store managers, district managers, and program coordinators where applicable
• Cultivate positive relationships with agencies, donors, and Feeding America
Additional Duties
• Attend staff meetings and participate in team planning sessions
• Partner with Agency Services Coordinators, Operations, and Logistics to identify potential pairings of stores with partner agencies based on specified criteria
• Monitor store and agency pairings through reports and scheduled site visits, track, report, and document non-compliance issues
• Adhere to corporate donor policies
• During an emergency, provide efficient response to activities over and above normal operations to ensure staff and partner agency needs are met
• Engage in self-development activities to strengthen skills required for position

Job Qualifications
• Education and Experience
o High school graduate or equivalent and one-year related experience and/or training preferred.
o Experience in the retail grocery industry a plus
o Experience in sales and marketing to retail customers
• Technical Proficiencies
o Proficient knowledge on Microsoft programs
o Experience with Microsoft Office applications – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, in particular
o CERES and Blackbaud ReNXT experience a plus
• Communication Skills
o Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, communication,

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
• Works primarily at store donation sites, on occasion may work in warehouse or at outdoor events
• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
• Frequent travel in service areas, must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Requires work schedule flexibility with early morning and weekend availability
• Employee may encounter occasional exposure to fumes and/or airborne particles, and hear moderate to loud noise from store and warehouse equipment
