Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Assistant is responsible for serving as the primary receptionist for current and prospective students for the Financial Aid Office and assisting students with applying for and understanding how to receive financial aid. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements
- Greets current and prospective students in the Financial Aid Office, directing requests and questions to the appropriate party
- Provides financial aid application guidance to students, including the process once financial aid has been approved and distributed
- Files financial aid records and reports, posts information to records, sorts and distributes mail, copies documents, answers telephone and performs similar duties
- Computes amounts and checks totals on various financial aid reconciliation reports
- Inputs and retrieves financial aid information in connection with the responsibilities of serving financial aid students

Supervision Works under the general supervision of the Director of Financial Aid
