Job Summary
Reporting to the District Director of Information Security, the Manager of Information Security Operations is responsible for effectively utilizing technology, policy, and training to provide security of data and systems for Tarrant County College (TCC). This position is also responsible for evaluating, testing, implementing, and operating information security tools and devices and performing other tasks to assess and improve information security across the district. Serves as an advocate for computer systems security within the College. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Essential Performance Requirements
- Actively monitors the security of networks, services, workstations, mobile devices and any other systems or process required for the storage or use of data for TCC
- Performs as Lead Incident Response Team member for all TCC Security Incidents
- Performs multiple general security functions including security system design, incident response, threat intelligence, business continuity and disaster recovery, forensics, etc.
- Assists in selecting the security awareness training material and reports the results of yearly training
- Assists in selecting recurring advanced security training for the Information Security Office
- Assists in the development and enforcement of information security policies, standards, procedures and processes
- Recommends security technologies for TCC
- Oversees anti-phish operations to improve TCC’s response to phishing attacks
