Position Summary
We seek a detail-oriented and proactive National Lighting Project Manager to oversee all national account client management aspects. This role involves plan take-offs, pricing, project quoting, inventory management, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills, industry knowledge, and a cradle-to-grave customer-focused approach to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Management
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with national account clients.
- Conduct comprehensive plan take-offs, prepare accurate product quotes, and deliver cost proposals to clients.
- Excel in all aspects of Project Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Meet with clients as required to ensure alignment of project requirements and maintain solid relationships.
Operational Excellence
- Manage order entry in ERP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Track and follow up on orders with vendors to guarantee on-time delivery to warehouses or job sites.
- Monitor and track projected inventory requirements for assigned clients.
- Handle customer issues, including processing returned goods and resolving disputes.
- Deliver projects on time and on budget.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Create and maintain project files.
- Produce schedules for each client, forecasting product needs by quarter.
- Prioritize and manage multiple job duties to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Excellent attention to detail required
Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales team to align client strategies and ensure seamless service.
- Collaborate with customers, contractors, and vendors to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- College degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in lighting or a related field.
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a project management role.
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize effectively.
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel (Advanced), and Outlook. Knowledge of AutoCAD, AGI32, Bluebeam, and HubSpot is preferred.
- Courteous, tactful, and patient in interactions with clients and team members.
