Hours : Monday-Friday 9AM - 5PM EST

Duties and Responsibilities :
Plan / distribute / monitor daily task execution and metrics
Manage / monitor overall production team metrics by section
Order / track supplies and future requirements
Pull correct stock bottle from inventory and stage prescriptions for packaging
Accurately package prescriptions in blister cards based on the directions for use, either by hand or using packaging machines
Pull correct pre-packed blister card and affix prescriptions labels
Sort and organize completed prescriptions
Perform quality assurance checks as directed
Liaison with procurement team to handle NDC changes, out of stocks and back-order medications.
Oversees daily task accomplishment by the team and provides feedback
Identifies issues as they arise that affect production goals and deadlines
Facilitates team member time-management and tasks assignments based on requirements
Is first point of contact in daily interactions with team members providing feedback related to work, schedule, and performance.
Interfaces with Production Manager for daily goals, metric development, and team related issues.
Strategizes manpower requirements based on daily / weekly / cycle production targets.
Requirements :
Must possess active NJ State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
Must be PTCB certified
Can perform pharmacy calculations
Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions
Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
Ability to work with little oversight and / or guidance
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly
Must be able to stand / be on feet for duration of an eight (8) hour shift
Preferred Skills / Abilities :
1 year experience in a pharmacy environment preferred
