This remote role is ideal for a professional with a customer service background in an IDD long-term care pharmacy setting. You will act as a resource for the triage customer service team, offering clinical guidance and operational support while ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate with leadership teams to optimize processes, address customer-facing challenges, and drive continuous improvements in service delivery.

Now Hiring – Triage Pharmacist Manager

HOURS : Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM CST (10AM - 6PM EST)

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Partner across the Operations Leadership Team to solve business needs.
  • Identifies opportunities to update or improve customer service procedures and makes recommendations to leadership.
  • Work with front-end leadership to serve as an escalation point for customer-facing pharmacy functions.
  • Serves as a resource to on site and remote Triage customer service team to provide guidance.
  • Provide Clinical guidance to team members to solve customer needs
  • Review metrics and performance-based data to determine opportunities for efficiencies and workflow improvements
  • Collaborate with other front end departments leads to provide solutions to customer facing issues
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Complies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the appropriate State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.
  • Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive and team-oriented approach.
  • Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing.
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards.
  • Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Minimum of two years of practice with experience in long-term care preferred
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience
  • Must possess a Texas State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License
  • Experience with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack preferred
  • Positive personality who is able to work well within a team
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Can de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacy
  • At least two years of customer service experience required.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Working knowledge of FrameWorks and DocuTrack preferred
  • Current PharmD required
