What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Tarsco Bolted tank?
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, work tools and equipment.
- CNC Lasers: Fiber optic and CO2 and Whitney punch
- Press Brake, turn rolls, angle punch and angle roll, beam line.
- Welding machines, forklifts, man lifts, Air compressors
- Powder coating line, conveyors, blaster, wash station, preheat/cure ovens, and paint booths.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues.
- Providing technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modifications
- Understanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis
- Performing both uptime and down time preventative maintenance

Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, and weekends
- Ability to operate within a safety culture
- Minimum of a high school education or GED
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance or related industry experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
- Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
- Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when required
- Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditions
- Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery
