What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Tarsco Bolted tank?
To develop and direct testing procedures to ensure high quality products. Quality Control (QC) procedures and tests should encompass all phases of plan operation from receipt of raw materials through the manufacturing process and tests of finished products.
- Responsible to test and report in-process/final quality control results.
- Inspect and report on quality and visibility.
- Provide, and oversee, inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
- Read Shop Prints for parts.
- Read Tape Measure.
- Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.
- Response to root cause and corrective actions for non-conformance.
- Ensure that product not meeting specification is quarantined and placed on hold.
- Participate in corrective action investigation teams.
- Perform disposition of product that does not meet specifications.
- Provide input and ideas for continuous improvement projects
- Good communication skills
- Any additional duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor

· Prefer ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
· Ability to prepare computerized QC reports
· Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge
· High School or GED
· Understanding of Quality standards.
