Key Responsibilities
Financial Performance Analysis:
- Analyze financial performance, comparing actual results with budget, forecasts, and historical data, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support decision-making and strategy development.
- Track financial trends and performance metrics, offering recommendations for optimization based on both internal performance and industry benchmarks.
- Lead cost-saving and productivity initiatives, monitoring their impact across various departments and identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support business planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports to senior management, ensuring key insights and trends are clearly communicated for informed strategic planning.
- Provide in-depth reporting on key financial metrics, including sales, orders, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to support operational and financial objectives.
- Support the preparation and coordination of the annual budget process, collaborating with department heads to gather inputs, align financial objectives, and ensure that the budget reflects organizational goals.
- Lead the quarterly forecasting process, adjusting financial projections based on actual performance, market changes, and evolving business needs, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
- Provide detailed analysis on variances between forecasted and actual results, offering insights and recommendations to ensure financial goals are met.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Operations, to align on financial goals and provide insights into performance.
- Support customer-facing meetings with in-depth financial analysis, offering data-driven insights to guide business strategies and promote financial discipline.
- Lead the analysis and reporting of Year-to-Date (YTD) expenditures and cost management initiatives, ensuring financial integrity and alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor financial processes and reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with corporate financial goals.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements in financial systems, tools, and reporting methods to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Proven ability to analyze large datasets and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
