Overview:
Tarver & Leininger LLP specializes in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Litigation, Probate Administration and Trust Administration. We are seeking a detail oriented legal assistant to join our office. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on a wide range of legal matters.
Duties:
-Document Preparation: Assist attorneys in drafting and finalizing estate planning documents, such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
-File Management: Maintain and organize client files with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
-Client Communication: Collect necessary information from clients, schedule appointments, and coordinate the execution and notarization of documents.
-Calendaring & Scheduling: Manage attorneys' calendars by scheduling client meetings, document signings, court appearances, and deadlines. Ensure timely follow-ups and reminders.
-Phone Call Management: Handle and prioritize incoming phone calls, including client inquiries, scheduling, and responding to general information requests. Ensure prompt and professional communication.
-Administrative Support: Manage deadlines, handle client intakes, and submit legal forms to courts and agencies as required.
Experience:
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
