Responsibilities:
- Drive Compliance & Internal Controls – Oversee SOX compliance, internal audits, and regulatory adherence to maintain financial integrity.
- Lead Financial Reporting – Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, and reports under GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.
- Manage Contracts & Agreements – Analyze and interpret financial terms in contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with accounting policies.
- Handle Complex Accounting Issues – Research and resolve technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and other intricate financial challenges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in financial reporting and compliance, with a strong SOX, audit, and internal controls background.
- GAAP expertise and technical accounting research skills are required.
- CPA certification is preferred (but not required).
