What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor II position at Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc?
Exciting opportunity for a full time Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor to work with patients on Catalina Island as part of a SAPC pilot. Position involves travel to the island to conduct outreach and engagement activities, individual assessments, individual /group counseling, and use of telehealth technology for the purpose of treatment services delivered from the mainland. Familiarity with ASAM assessment tool strongly preferred, Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred to reflect the population served on the island. Candidates should have experience with developing individual SUD treatment plans, implementation of individual/group interventions, and conducting other recovery support activities. Candidate should be familiar with electronic and paper chart documentation. Participation in case conferences and crisis intervention as needed. Competitive pay and excellent benefits.
