What are the responsibilities and job description for the Peer Support/Technician I position at Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc?
Full time position available in program serving homeless adults navigating the transition from homelessness to housing. The ideal candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills and provide excellent customer service that is sensitive to the challenges that homeless persons with a range of medical and behavioral health issues face. Duties will include the ability to manage residents in a group setting, strong communication skills, effective multitasking, good organization skills, good documentation skills, ongoing monitoring and follow-up, and a good driving record to drive agency vehicles. Experience working with homeless population desired.
Shifts will include overnights and weekends as applicable
Requirements:
- High School diploma, or equivalent, is required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- CA Driver’s License.
