We are seeking a Per Diem, Part Time Physician (independent contractor) to provide primary care services to all patient populations in a Joint Commission certified clinic integrated with behavioral health services and operating as a patient-centered medical home with locations and opportunities in the Lancaster / Palmdale and the San Fernando Valley.
The services include but are not limited to :
- Providing physical examinations;
- Diagnosing, treating, and prescribing medications as needed by the patient population;
- Ordering lab and diagnostic work;
- Coordinating with the Primary Care Director and the Pharmacists;
- Providing oversight to the Physicians Assistant / Registered Nurse Practitioners;
- Consulting with medical specialists.
Doctorate in Medicine and physicians interested in Substance Use Disorder services to include the use of medication support such as buprenorphine and Vivitrol a plus.
