What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor (LMFT/LCSW) position at Tarzana?
Clinical Supervisor : Full time Clinical Supervisor needed for Tarzana Treatment Centers Northridge Mental health services. Supervisor would oversee different DMH contracted programs. Programs include all age ranges as well as specialized services for underserved population that utilize a "whole person" perspective where staff integrate individual / family therapy, case management, health navigation and culturally defined complimentary services( for example : Energy Healing, aroma therapy, acupuncture, etc.) to address chronic health conditions and / or substance use conditions as well as mental health conditions.Essential Functions :
- Complies with all agency policies and procedures
- Complies with State / Federal or Certification / Licensure training requirements.
- Supervises therapists to assure timely completion of work and adherence to program policies and procedures.
- Promotes the development of therapy / case management skills and approaches through evaluations and assessments.
- Provides weekly, biweekly or monthly clinical supervision through documentation of assessment of professional competencies, clinical skills and recommendations through weekly meetings and direct and periodic observation.
- Review all DMH documentation developed by staff for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
- Completes quarterly reports for supervision, training, compliance, discharges and admissions.
- Completes chart audits on admission and discharges.
- Assigns new patients to staff caseloads and monitors ratio for state compliance.
- Participate in Quality Assurance / Improvement activities.
- Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
