We are hiring a Facilities Operations Manager to work. In this role, you will be responsible for industrial environmental projects, developing, implementing and continuously improving EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) and regulatory compliance. Facilities Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of our Wastewater complex, including maintenance, custodial services, grounds-keeping, and ensuring the functionality and safety of all facilities, by managing staff, coordinating repairs, implementing preventative maintenance plans, and adhering to compliance standards; essentially acting as the primary point of contact for all facility-related issues within an organization.

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS
This role involves regular communication, including speaking and hearing. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasional climbing. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 60 pounds and climb stairs and ladders regularly. There may be occasional exposure to heights.
Strong interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, employees, and managers. The position requires effective conflict resolution and the ability to present information clearly, both verbally and in writing. Basic reading, writing, and math skills are needed.
The employee must be comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection. This role includes both office and physical job site duties, with the potential to work in confined spaces and exposure to extreme temperatures.

- Developing and implementing facility preventative maintenance and life cycle requirements
- Managing regular maintenance of equipment and supplies that meet regulatory standards

- Directing, coordinating and planning essential maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in project management and quality management systems.

- 7-10 years performing all aspects of Emergency Spill Response preferred
- Proven track record in the management of company operations and quality assurance
- Spill mitigation experience and chemical knowledge
- HAZWOPER and Confined Space certifications
- CDL License preferred
- TWIC Card preferred
- Knowledge of petroleum products and hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals
